INTRODUCING
Uveitis Master Class Season 2
Module 1: Basic Uveitis - Principles and Practices
- The Uveitis subspeciality is considered one of the most challenging areas in ophthalmology.
- The primary challenge is the discrepancy between standard textbook knowledge and real-life scenarios.
- This course aims to bridge that gap by offering a practical approach to common uveitis presentations. Rather than discussing uveitis as separate disease entities like traditional textbooks, this course focuses on the fundamental principles and tools necessary for managing any uveitis case.
- Real-life scenarios and management strategies for common uveitis presentations encountered in eye casualty or general ophthalmology practice will be illustrated, along with guidelines on when to refer to a uveitis specialist
Module 2: Advanced Uveitis
- This advanced module in uveitis is designed to enhance your expertise through in-depth exploration of laboratory testing, imaging techniques, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
- Participants will gain valuable insights into common diagnostic errors and learn practical approaches to managing both infectious and non-infectious uveitis. Interactive case discussions will provide real-world applications, emphasizing the integration of advanced imaging modalities and fostering collaboration with related specialties such as rheumatology, infectious disease, and oncology.
- With a focus on practical strategies and real case reviews, this module equips participants to refine their diagnostic skills and deliver optimal patient care in complex uveitis scenarios.
