It all began in 2014 with one simple mission: to make world-class ophthalmology education accessible to doctors everywhere.

What started as a small tutoring group has grown into a global learning community, empowering thousands of ophthalmologists across more than 100 countries to advance their knowledge, succeed in their examinations, and excel in clinical practice.

Our journey began with ophthalmology examination preparation courses, designed to transform complex medical knowledge into clear, engaging, and exam-focused learning experiences. As our community grew, so did our ambition.

Recognising that learning doesn't end with passing an exam, we expanded beyond examination preparation to introduce our Subspecialty Masterclasses — comprehensive, expert-led programmes in all ophthalmic subspecialties designed to bridge the gap between textbook knowledge and real-world clinical practice.

But we didn't stop there.

As medical education evolved, we recognised the need for a smarter, more interactive way to learn. This inspired the creation of OphthoPass, our dedicated digital learning platform featuring comprehensive study notes, question banks, and interactive VIVA & OSCE clinical cases — bringing together the essential tools for modern ophthalmology education.

Today, I-Courses Academy and OphthoPass work hand in hand, combining expert-led video courses with powerful digital learning resources to offer a comprehensive educational experience, from the first steps in ophthalmology to advanced subspecialty expertise.

Over a decade of education. More than 10,000 ophthalmologists from more than 100 countries have been able to  pursue their career goals under the umbrella of I Courses Academy. One enduring passion: helping ophthalmologists achieve their full potential.

And the most exciting part? We're only getting started.
